State-of-the-art dental practice seeking a full time EXPERIENCED dental assistant. We offer a team-oriented work environment. Dental Assistant Duties Include (but are not limited to):
- 2 years of Dental assisting required
- Chair side assisting to the doctor (4 handed dentistry)
- Explaining treatment plans given by doctor
- Triage all patients including reviewing medical history
- Setting up and breaking down operatories
- Prepare and lay out sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies and materials inside treatment rooms for examination and dental procedures
- Ordering dental supplies and keeping organized ordering systems
- Taking digital and panoramic X-rays (x ray certification a MUST )
- Sending/receiving lab cases
- Stocking operatories and lab.
- Must be a people person and familiar with aspects of dentistry and assisting duties.
- Dentrix/Dexis experience preferred but not required
- Ensure dental office infection control policies and safety regulations are met
