Job Summary
The Hilton Mystic is seeking a friendly and reliable person to join our team on a part-time, hourly basis. As a Bellman/Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation for hotel guests to and from local designated destinations as well as assisting guest with luggage upon arrival or departure. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a clean driving record, and a flexible schedule. This position is primarily evening hours but may also include mornings based on business needs.
Compensation & Benefits
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $16.35 per hour, paid biweekly. As a part-time position, the Shuttle Driver will also have access to certain benefits such as discounted hotel rooms and insurance benefits.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate the hotel shuttle van to transport guests to and from designated locations.
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, assist with luggage as needed
- Plan efficient and timely routes to ensure guests arrive at their destination on time
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shuttle van, including regular fueling and maintenance
- Assist with other transportation needs of the hotel.
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests, anticipating their needs and resolving any concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Follow all traffic and safety laws, including wearing a seat belt and using hands-free devices while driving
- Communicate any issues or concerns with the shuttle van to the appropriate department
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and confidentiality
- Attend all required training and meetings as directed by management
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 5 years driving experience, preferably in a customer service or hospitality setting
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong knowledge of the Mystic, Connecticut area preferred
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and ability to troubleshoot minor issues
