What are the responsibilities and job description for the Evening Housekeeping Turndown Attendant position at Distinctive Hospitality Group?
As the Evening Turndown Attendant, you would be responsible for maintaining the public areas of the hotel to include restrooms, offering turn down service to our stay over guests that would include light-touch cleaning of guest rooms and responding to guest requests. Compensation: $17 - $19 per hour
Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming
- Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed
- Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed
- Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis
- Maintain the cleanliness of the lobby and other public spaces, including public restrooms
- Dispose of trash and recyclables
- Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Perform guest turn down service, as requested
Qualifications
- Specifically, we are looking for someone with a minimum of 6 months experience working as a Housekeeping/Room Attendant in a hotel environment. Ideal candidate must be able to communicate with hotel guests and to follow-up on requests, a mastery of the English language. Candidate must be able to work weekends and some holidays. This is an evening shift 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm.
