Job description
Our client is seeking a Mould Operator
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cuts, slices and trims wood to specifications.
Read work orders
Set up moulder
Select appropriate grinding knives depending on specified cut
Operate saws and other machines to cut stock using highest grade cut possible
Trim defects from stock
Sharpen blades as needed, clean machines and apply lubricant as needed
Work on other projects as assigned.
EDUCATION / TRAINING / JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCES
2 years of experience involving moulder or similar job duties
Trained to read and understand work orders
Trained to read and set up machines
Trained to recognize and differentiate various wood types, color, grain and texture
