Quality Control Inspector
This is a hybrid role that includes the inspection of CNC machined parts, and shipping and receiving! The ideal person for this position would be a CNC machinist that is ready to take all of their knowledge and experience and apply it to the inspection of machined parts! If you aren't a CNC Machinist don't be discouraged, we are more than happy to train someone with a good work ethic and a willingness to learn!
Key Duties for this position will include:
Quality Inspection
- Quality inspection of CNC machined parts with diverse types of measuring tools.
- First article and in process inspection of low volume production machining.
- Communicating and documenting potential quality concerns.
- Creation of inspection reports and supporting documents when applicable.
- Overtime may be required to meet production schedules.
Shipping and Receiving:
- Building custom pallets when applicable.
- Experience using hand tools
- Use creative thinking relative to the packaging of unusually shaped and oversized manufactured components.
- Prep and safely pack part for shipment using various packaging methods.
- Receive incoming goods into ERP system.
- Create shipments within ERP system.
- Coordinate outgoing shipments.
Basic Qualifications for this position will include:
- Experience with basic hand and power tools.
- Proficient in math and measuring skills.
- Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Office and functions of ERP systems.
- Experience with accurately utilizing precision measuring tools.
- Ability to read and understand detailed process sheets and drawings.
- Ability to interact effectively with management and co-workers.
- Effective communication, interpersonal and teaming skills.
- Position requires the ability to safely lift 40 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
