FIELD SUPERVISOR NEEDED!
3-5 YEARS OF RESIDENTIAL ROOFING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

A field supervisor within Distinctive Roofing is responsible for managing the roofing projects from start to finish; controlling materials, quality and client satisfaction. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed.

WHO WE ARE
We are an 18 year old roofing company that primarily installs residential, retail roofing applications. Our focus is on tile roofs, and our main customer base is comprised of retirees and clients who own second homes in Florida. Until recently, our business has always been referrals, as we did not previously do any advertising. We have a customer first attitude, and we are known for this in our area.
QUALIFICATIONS
3-5 years of residential roofing experience
Understand and manage scheduling, record keeping, and have ability to deal effectively with crews
Be knowledgeable of different roofing systems for both residential and commercial
Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Must be able to read and inspect and analyze roofs for compliance with plans, submittals, specifications, and scheduling
Employee will be working on roofs and must be experienced working at different heights and climbing ladders
Teach and enforce safety regulations
Skilled art management of multiple projects, opportunity analysis and decision-making
Must be able to meet and communicate effectively with Engineers, Consultants, Building officials, and Clients on job sites and other meetings
Meet with building inspectors and be able to answer questions and / or provide information as it relates to installation procedures and code compliance
Ensure distribution of proper equipment and materials to the crews
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
Must have basic computer skills, including the use of emails via smart phone / tablet
Must have a valid Florida driver's license
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees the daily construction activities at multiple work sites and keeps the Project Manager updated on job status
Responsible for reporting the overall progress of the projects as well as coordinating workers, equipment, and materials with the Project Manager to ensure the jobs run on schedule and that all information needed is provided in a timely manner
Observes, monitors and corrects any safety deficiency with employees or equipment
Performs JSI (jobsite inspections) at all work sites
Promotes company safety policy through example
Insures all jobs have a safety plan prior to starting
