What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swimming Pool Construction position at Distinctive Swimming Pools, In?
A family-owned and operated swimming pool company for over thirty-five years is looking to invite pool construction professionals to be a part of our team. We seek creative, hard-working, responsible, energetic individuals who like to work outdoors. They must be able to work independently as well as with other co-workers. The position is a Monday through Friday position although some Saturdays may be necessary depending on workload. Pay rate contingent on years in the industry, knowledge as well as work experience. The company provides internal training programs, OSHA training, and on-the-job training.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Chipping and/or jackhammering concrete
- Mixing cement
- Laying tile and coping work
- Minor pool plumbing
- Bending and tying rebar
- Trench digging
- Moving cement, stones, and other heavy objects
This position is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms, use their hands, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and talk/hear. This position often lifts 50 to 100 pounds independently and is required to be able to see, adjust focus, and possess depth perception.
The work environment for this position is outside where conditions may frequently be wet, humid, hot, or cold.
