Argyle Winery is seeking Part-Time Hospitality Specialist Assistant to join our Dundee, OR Tasting House team! We are looking for exceptional individuals who know how to hustle, have an eye for details and thrive in a high paced customer facing environment. Our service model offers the unique opportunity to interact with guests tableside
while educating and offering guidance on wine flights and additional service experiences. The role requires top notch hospitality and customer service skills, the ability to multi-task, think on your feet, and provide an unparalleled experience for all guests and wine club members. Hourly compensation, gratuities and incentives offer amazing earning potential for candidates with strong service and sales skills. This position is based in Dundee, OR and is part-time, non-exempt and requires the ability to consistent work weekends, evenings, and some holidays. The work schedule is 16 hours/week working Saturdays and Sundays.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in tasting room sales or customer service-oriented position
- Passion for knowledge of fine wine and willingness to learn more
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable, dependable, professional
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time and lift upwards of
50lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation. - Have or willing to obtain OLCC Service Permit
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to provide U.S. Work Authorization without current or future sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure exceptional visitor experience thru consistent and attentive guest
interaction - Promote wine sales and wine club sign ups
- Articulate comprehensive knowledge of Argyle wines, winemaking process,
history and brand - Perform opening and closing procedures, with attention to detail for staff
and guest safety - Operate POS and online booking systems (Commerce7 and Tock)
