Commercial Kitchen CAD/Revit Designer

Acme Paper & Supply is a successful (over 75 years) company where your work makes a difference! Located in Jessup near the intersection of 32 & Rte 1.

We seek a Commercial Kitchen CAD/Revit designer to develop equipment floor plans, schedules, mechanical, electrical plumbing, special condition plans and elevations and Revit drawings for department and customer use. This role works with a project design team as well as with equipment manufacturers.

Essential functions of the position are as follows:

• Create, modify, and release complete sets drawings and/or word drawings in multiple views using AutoCAD & Revit.

• Work closely with department manager, sales staff, and clients to ensure accuracy of drawings.

• Ensure all drawings are complete, accurate and in compliance with industry standards

• Ability to work from drawings, sketches, scanned images, verbal information, client details, and/or government drawings or specifications.

• May occasionally be responsible for design elements.

• Prepares quotes, contracts, and RFP/RFI responses for potential clients.

• Ensures accurate pricing and configurations on quotes and proposals.

• May assist with phone-based sales.

• Maintains awareness of industry trends and government regulations.

This is a full time position requiring 40 hours of work per week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Occasional evenings and weekends may be needed.

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma and CAD Certificate. 2 year degree from recognized CAD program preferred.
• Must demonstrate proficiency with CAD software.
• Project management and prioritization skills.
• Knowledge of architectural and interior design, engineering design and construction management.
• Clear communicator, both in writing and verbally.
• Strict attention to detail and superior organizational skills.
• Previous commercial kitchen/restaurant industry experience a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
