What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing & Tradeshow Coordinator position at Distribution Management Inc & Subsidiary?
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing and Tradeshow Coordinator is responsible for:
Excellent opportunity for someone interested in B2B marketing and working with a dynamic (and fun) in-house marketing department. In this role, a new team member will learn about wholesale distribution and our vendor partnerships in order to develop marketing materials and facilitate promotional activities on behalf of our vendors. This role has the potential to expand into other areas related to DM corporate marketing, event planning, social media marketing and video content development.
Primary Responsibilities
Act as liaison between Marketing and Product Merchandising teams to coordinate and facilitate marketing activities for DM wholesale vendors.
- Work with the Product Merchandising team and vendor marketing materials to develop email marketing campaigns and digital ad projects for wholesale vendors
- Provide marketing activity data to Product Merchandising and Sales teams
- Write and proof marketing copy and provide directions to designers
- Maintain vendor marketing calendar and ensure deadlines are met
- Proactively monitor vendor content on DM website for accuracy and visibility
-Work with Social Media Manager in providing social content based on vendor marketing activities.
Additional Marketing Activities
- Help maintain the annual tradeshow calendar
- Assist with tradeshow and conference participation - register DM and participants for events, develop marketing materials, prepare and ship show materials
- Work with internal departments to assist with corporate marketing projects.
- Facilitate updates to marketing materials, as needed
- Assist in proofing various communications for internal and external distribution
- Be proactive in following B2B marketing trends and competitor activity
