What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator - Standup Crown - 11am to 7:30pm - Monday - Friday position at Distribution Management?
Responsibilities Include:
- Load and unload trucks
- Move material within the facility and from the loading platform
- Safely operate forklifts or other machinery to load, unload, sort, stage and transport products
- Operate hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, and other material handling equipment
- Loading and unloading pallets to and from steel racking
- Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is picked. Assemble orders for shipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Stable and steady work history in a distribution center or warehouse.
- Punctual with good attendance.
- Takes an active interest in meeting the needs of the business as communicated by supervisors and managers.
- Basic knowledge of RF scanners.
- Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
