Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks and ensuring the facility remains clean, functional, and safe. This role includes a variety of cleaning, repair, and upkeep duties as assigned to maintain a productive and orderly work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Facility Upkeep: Service and supply restrooms and breakrooms, gather and dispose of trash, and clean surfaces, furniture, and fixtures according to a regular cleaning schedule, including mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Repairs & Maintenance: Monitor the facility and equipment for any damage, provide minor repairs, perform minor painting, replace light bulbs, and conduct basic building system repairs as needed.
- Safety & Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies, including handling cleanup and initiating emergency maintenance actions when necessary.
- Waste Management: Collect cardboard and other recyclables, ensuring proper disposal and recycling.
- Inventory & Organization: Track inventory of maintenance supplies, maintain organized storage areas, and notify the manager when major repairs or supply restocking are needed.
- Support Duties: Assist with moving furniture and other facility tasks to support a safe and functional workspace.
- Time Management: Ability to meet schedules and timelines.
- Teamwork: Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with colleagues and supervisors.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Physical Activity: Requires standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling items up to 75 pounds.
- Exposure: Work may involve being around machinery, changes in temperature and humidity, dust, fumes, and loud noise.
