Our team is dedicated to supporting the evolution of our supply chain network to an integrated self-distribution model, serving leading omnichannel grocery brands.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform shipping and receiving tasks assigned by supervisor or designee
• Complete documents related to shipping and receiving tasks
• Select and palletize orders for shipment to retail stores accurately
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely and efficiently
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment according to company policy
• Maintain good sanitation practices and keep work areas clean and free of debris
• Identify opportunities to improve procedures and processes to maximize efficiency and productivity
Requirements
• Certification on powered industrial equipment where applicable
• Ability to use a personal computer for data entry and research purposes
• Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• High School Education
• Experience in a distribution environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs repetitively
• Meet production standards set by the company
• Stand for long periods of time
• Read and understand written and numeric product identifiers
• Work varied schedules and environments with cool temperatures, concrete floors, and powered industrial trucks
