What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Services Clinician-PRN position at District 19 Community Services Board?
Essential job duties include: crisis intervention and stabilization, pre-screenings, representation of CSB at involuntary commitment hearings, discharge planning and short-term counseling. Successful applicants must have:
Master’s degree in Human Services
Experience working with people with mental health, intellectual disabilities and substance use disorders in a mental health setting
Knowledge of the Virginia Code as it relates to temporary detentions and involuntary commitments
Skills in assessment and diagnosis of SA and MH, certification as a Preadmission Screening Evaluator and experience with electronic health records system
Ability to work independently with supervisory back up. Candidates must hold at least Licensed Resident with VA BOC. Prefer professional license. Prefer bilingual (English/Spanish) candidate.
Salary:
Hourly Grade H-C9. Hourly range $31.85 - $35.83.
Hours: On-call, as needed, not to exceed 28 hours per week.

Telework: This position is not eligible for telework.
Position requires valid Driver’s License in state of residence with a point balance of -6 or higher, and an extensive pre-employment background check to include fingerprints and drug screening.
