LICENSED TEACHER VACANCY

SUMMER READ CAMP TEACHER - GRANT FUNDED - DISTRICT WIDE

THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR A $3600 STIPEND PAID AS A LUMP SUM PAYMENT FOLLOWING COMPLETION OF THE PROGRAM

Dates : June 2 - June 27, 2025

Summer READ Camp Training : Thursday, May 29, 2025 (8 : 00 - 3 : 00)

Work Schedule : Monday - Friday, 7 : 30am - 11 : 30am

Benefits : Temporary Position Interviews are site-based and not conducted by the Human Resources office.

Qualifications and Expectations :

BA / BS from accredited college or university
Valid Colorado teaching license endorsed in area of assignment : K-6 Elementary Education along with #3 OR

a. A valid Colorado teaching license endorsed in another area AND #3

Candidate must have a passing PRAXIS Exam #5001 (or #5018)

Completed and passed an approved ppathway for the CDE Evidence-Based READ Act Professional Development requirement and have the READ Act Designation on their teacher license.

Additional Qualifications :

Demonstrated achievement and growth with students with significant reading deficiencies.

Has two (2) years of teaching experience
