Position Summary:
The Grant Manager will oversee the successful implementation of an awarded grant aimed at expanding experiential learning opportunities within Pea Ridge School District. Working in collaboration with the Middle, Junior, and High Schools, this position will ensure the execution of initiatives designed to benefit teachers, parents, and students. Key efforts include coordinating summer externships, transforming school libraries into Early Career and Training Education Centers, and organizing post-secondary education visits. The Grant Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with grant requirements, managing budgets, and assessing program impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and implementation of experiential learning opportunities for teachers, parents, and students.
- Coordinate summer externship programs for teachers and students in key career pathways, including Health Services, Advanced Manufacturing, Marketing, Distribution and Logistics, Building and Construction, Business Management and Administration, and Education and Training.
- Manage the transformation of two school libraries into Early Career and Training Education Centers, serving students, families, and educators.
- Facilitate and coordinate in-person post-secondary education visits to colleges, technical centers, and industry training facilities across the state and region.
- Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and community partners to ensure alignment with district priorities and student success goals.
- Monitor and track grant expenditures to ensure proper allocation of funds and compliance with funding guidelines.
- Prepare and submit required reports to grant agencies and district leadership.
- Build and maintain partnerships with local industries, post-secondary institutions, and workforce development organizations.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to measure the effectiveness and impact of grant-funded initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Public Administration, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven experience in grant management, program coordination, and reporting, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and manage partnerships effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software.
- Knowledge of workforce development, career education, and experiential learning models.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in K-12 education grant funding and program development.
- Familiarity with career and technical education pathways.
- Strong financial management skills related to grant budgets.
