What are the responsibilities and job description for the Foot Patrol Officer- TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT position at DISTRICT AND CHARTER PATROL?
We are seeking a Foot Patrol Officer to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons.

(TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT)
MUST WORK WEEKENDS
Thursday and Friday 8pm to 4:30 am
Saturday 12:30 pm to 9pm
Sunday 8am to 4:30 pm
MUST HAVE 1-2 YEARS OF RECENT FULL TIME SECURITY EXPERIENCE
MUST HAVE 40 HOURS OF TRAINING CERTIFICATES
MUST BE ABLE TO WALK FOR 8-10 HOURS A DAY IN ANY WEATHER CONDITION
PREFERRED CANDIDATE HAS EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH TRANSIENTS
MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE RESOLVING CONFLICTS / DE-ESCALATING SITUATIONS.
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
- Must be able to travel to different locations
- Rover to different sites as needed
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
- monitor CCTV
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
- Write daily activity and incident reports
- Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
- Be able to use electronic devices for reporting
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields
- Familiarity with security equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong attention to detail
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.50 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 36 per week
