What are the responsibilities and job description for the Campus Safety Officer position at District & Charter Patrol?
We are seeking an Unarmed Campus Saftey Officer to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons.

SHIFTS: TUESDAY- FRIDAY ( PART TIME )
PART TIME FOOT PATROL
MUST BE AVAILABLE FROM 7:00 AM - 7:00PM
LOCATIONS INCLUDE: REDLANDS
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS DOJ BACKGROUND AND EMPLOYMENT VERIFICATION
MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF SECURITY EXPERIENCE
MUST BE ABLE TO INTERVENE IN PHYSCIAL ALTERCATIONS
MUST BE ABLE TO WALK FOR 8-10 HOURS A DAY
Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
- Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
- All major holidays off, spring break off (site specific)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields
- Familiarity with security equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong attention to detail
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.25 per hour
