Role Description
The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive mental health care to individuals across diverse populations. This position involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of mental health conditions, utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The PMHNP will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address both the psychological and physical health needs of patients. Qualifications
• A heart for people and passion for serving the underserved
• Current DC license as NP
• Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited program
• Board certification (ANCC)
• Active Controlled Substance and DEA obtained within the first 30 days of hire
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
