SUMMARY: To provide students with a safe, attractive and efficient place in which to learn, play and develop.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs miscellaneous repairs and services as assigned
- Installs, repairs and relocates heavy equipment as assigned
- Makes minor plumbing and electrical repairs
- Marks athletic field
- Repairs walls, roofs and floors
- Repairs and varnishes wooden desks, chairs, tables and other furniture
- Sets up sound and other equipment as required
- Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees, community members and vendors
- Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality
- Other job related duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Education:
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC)
Experience:
- One (1) year experience in a maintenance related field
Abilities:
- Read and interpret general documents such as employee handbooks and safety/training manuals
- Write general correspondence and speak effectively with others
- Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Interpret assortment of instructions furnished in variable forms
- Reason to research and solve moderately complex issues with little or no assistance
