Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Special Education Teacher at District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) located in Washington, DC. The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for teaching students with disabilities in a separate day school and providing effective communication to support their learning and development.
Qualifications
- Experience teaching students with special needs
- Knowledge of Disabilities and effective communication strategies
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- A valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working in an urban school environment is a plus
