What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver Delivery - Food Warehouse position at District Office?
JOB DESCRIPTION:
To make timely delivery of foods and materials. To provide formal receipting activities for Child Nutrition. To provide proper storage of perishable foods.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current food handler's card, Arizona driver's license. Must possess and maintain a good driving record. Must be able to provide a current Motor Vehicle Record. Ability to meet delivery deadlines. Ability to maintain accurate records. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Ability to operate a forklift. Bilingual preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily delivery of prepared food, departmental mail, sales revenues, etc. as assigned, via District vehicle.
- Provide a formal receipt for food and material deliveries, including verification of invoices and purchase orders.
- Provide proper storage of foods as directed.
- Assist with the delivery of government commodities and other food and supplies to schools, rotating stock, as necessary, etc. as assigned, via District vehicle.
- Assist with a monthly departmental inventory. Be available for on-call scheduling to assist with temperature alarms
- Maintain sanitary (as required by Maricopa County) and orderly warehouse.
- Perform special cleaning and preventative maintenance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SALARY: Twelve-Month position, beginning salary level 30, employee benefits in accordance with Board policies.
EVALUATION: Performance to be evaluated in accordance with Board Policy on the evaluation of support personnel.
