What are the responsibilities and job description for the Homemaker position at District Three Governmental Cooperative?
JOB SUMMARY: Under the immediate supervision of the Homemaker Manager, the homemaker is responsible for housekeeping and homemaking duties for the client to promote a safe and clean-living environment. Duties to include, but not limited to: Light housekeeping, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, cleaning refrigerator, changing linens on bed, laundry, washing dishes and cleaning bathroom.
The pay for this position is $14.41 per hour and 24 hours per week with mileage reimbursement OR the use of an agency vehicle depending on the service area. Services are currently needed in Smyth and Carroll counties.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: All applicants must possess a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent. Experience working with the elderly population preferred. Applicant must hold a current driver’s license and have "zero points or points" driving record. Background screenings & substance abuse testing required.
