What are the responsibilities and job description for the 21st Century After School Program Peer Tutors position at DISTRICT WIDE POSITION?
POSITION: 21st Century Learning Center Peer Tutors
LOCATION: WSK8 or Bridges High School. Please include location of choice.
CLOSING DATE: Until Filled
START DATE: December 2, 2024
LOCATIONS: Warm Springs K-8 Academy or Bridges High School
*Peer tutors would be responsible for getting themselves to Warm Springs K-8 Academy. However, they could ride the bus home after the program.
*Please specify which location you would like to work at on application
PROGRAM HOURS: Monday mornings late start; Mon-Thurs after school until 5:30PM
SALARY: Minimum Wage
Peer tutors would be working with students K-8th grade, helping with homework and assisting the teachers as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a 509J High School 15 years old, sophmore, junior, or senior
- Early Childhood Education Course Pathway preference
- Prior peer tutor experience
- Must demonstrate good academics and behavior records
*Employment contingent upon fingerprinting.
