SUMMARY: To assist the Principal in leading the school community to increase student achievement through planning and organizing a school culture focused on teaching and learning, continuous improvement of curriculum, instruction and assessment, effective management of operations and resources in a safe and orderly environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Provides instructional and organizational leadership in support of educational goals of students and academic program; provides instructors guidance and support related to curriculum, instruction and scheduling; performs assessments; reviews resources; collaborates with stakeholders and provides direction in the development and implementation of plans and programs that align with applicable standards, guidelines, policies and goals.
- Plans and manages scheduling and staffing; collaborates and coordinates implementation of programs and/or schedules; oversees compliance with applicable regulations and policies; maintains assigned budget which may include specific programs such as athletics.
- Maintains safe environment and manages safety drills; evaluates and resolves discipline and attendance issues; provides crisis intervention; conducts investigations and determines and applies appropriate actions based on guidelines; maintains communications regarding issues with parents/guardians.
- Plans, schedules, organizes and oversees implementation of various events such as awards presentations, dances, talent shows, educational program events, sports events and/or other related activities/promotional events.
- Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Master's degree in educational administration or related field required.
- Three (3) years teaching experience required.
- Prior Administrative experience preferred.
- Experience in supervising and evaluating classroom instruction.
LICENSING/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Valid Arizona Administrator certification.
- Obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC).

Working Conditions: Work is routinely performed in an indoor, office environment; may require some work in the field with moderate exposure to travel.
