Teacher of Mathematics Certification Required

 

EFFECTIVE: 2024-2025 School Year 

  

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate (CE, CEAS, Provisional, or Standard) with Teacher of Math Endorsement (1900);
  • Demonstrated knowledge of NJ Student Learning Standards for Mathematics;
  • Knowledge of state assessment test specifications (ie: NJSLA – Math) and Industry Valued Credential Assessments;
  • Proficient at modeling/teaching/assessing mathematical coursework and effective teaching methods;
  • Familiarity with Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways and their connection to academic content;
    Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds, especially in Title I schools;
  • Ability to maintain a positive learning environment;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status

REPORTS TO: Principal

 

 

SALARY: As per salary guide

 

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 10-month position
