Instructional Assistant - Elementary Summer Academy

Position Goal: Assists the summer academy teacher in a variety of ways to implement the instructional program, including working with children in small groups.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists the teacher to implement the instructional program in the classroom.
• Implements student(s) positive behavior support plan(s).
• Support coordinators/teachers with attendance and other office duties.
• Establish effective rapport with students assigned to the classroom.

Program will run Monday through Friday.

Teachers must commit to the entire 19 days of Summer Academy

Program Start Date: June 30, 2025 (No School on July 4^th)

Program End Date: July 25, 2025

Hours: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
