Coach duties and responsibilities
A coach should have experience and passion for the sport. Their main responsibility is to guide the team throughout the sports season with some specific duties and responsibilities, including:
- Planning and leading practice sessions
- Creating strategies to lead the team in competitions
- Providing feedback and coaching during competitions
- Maintaining player and team records
- Recruiting new athletes for the team
- Mentoring players to develop sportsmanship and respect for the game
- Motivating players to improve
- Maintaining the equipment and facilities to ensure safe playing conditions
- Working with Varsity coaches to create a cohesive program
- Working with the Athletic Office to ensure adherence to school rules and regulations
Stipend: $5,000.00
