What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Police Officer - Act 120 Certified (Events) Part-time position at District Wide?
The Cornwall-Lebanon School District is seeking motivated and dedicated people to provide law enforcement and services for District athletic events as well as District sponsored activities. Individuals are expected to perform law enforcement functions and enforce federal, state and local laws as well as district policy while on school district property.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- ACT 120 certification OR completed ACT 120 training from an accredited academy
- At least 2 years law enforcement experience OR 4 years security experience (if recent ACT 120 graduate)
- Valid PA Drivers License with a clean driving record
- First Aid
- CPR/AED
- National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO) Certified Required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates OR Bachelors Degree from an accredited college/university
- Current ACT 120 certification/ MPOETC Certification
- At least 3 years law enforcement experience
- Valid PA drivers license with a clean driving record
- First Aid OR PA DOH First Responder OR PA DOH EMT
- Incident Command training (ICS 100, 700 & 800)
- Current weapons qualifications
