What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Custodian position at District Wide?
QUALIFICATIONS: High school education or equivalent. Several years experience in housekeeping.
REPORTS TO: Principal
LOCATION: TBD
JOB GOAL: To assist in providing a clean, safe, and healthy environment conducive to learning.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
These responsibilities include, but are not necessarily limited to the following:
- Daily cleaning duties as assigned, to include hallways, classrooms and restrooms.
- Daily inspection of assigned outdoor areas for paper and trash.
- Mow assigned grassy areas and trim shrubbery.
- Must be able to follow instructions, both written and oral.
- Must be able to perform all assigned duties.
- Must be available for after-hours emergencies.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the head custodian / Principal.
- Works with others consistently in a cooperative and respectful manner.
