What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Academy Tutor 'NON HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS' 2025 position at District Wide?

PRIMARY PURPOSE
To provide small group or one on one instruction to identified students attending
summer academy. This position is designed to provide academic support for students.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education/Certification
High School Diploma, or equivalent
Special Knowledge/Skills
Proficiency in all subjects including math, reading, and writing.
The ability to work effectively and harmoniously with students and
school personnel.
Able to follow written and/or oral directions and to exercise good
judgement.
Utilize effective verbal and written communications skills as well as a
high degree of literacy and higher order thinking skills.
Work Conditions
Possess acute and/or corrected visual and hearing capabilities.
Must have the ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Must possess the manual dexterity and physical capabilities to
perform all jobs requirements.
Minimum Experience
Experience working with elementary and/or secondary students is preferred.
Basic to advanced knowledge and understanding of the subject being taught.
Salary : $15
