Summer Enrichment Academy 2025

Current Kindergarten through current fifth grade LPS students
Position: Classroom Teachers and Specialists (STEM/PE, MUSIC)
- Four weeks (up to 20 hours a week) - Contractual Hourly Rate ($50)
Summer Enrichment Academy
Audience: Kindergarten (Current K) through Fifth Grade (Current 5th)
Dates/Times offered - Set up where the classrooms will be available on June 25th 9am - 2pm. (Up to 5 hours of prep at $40 an hour) Attendance recommended
Program runs - July 7th - July 31st - (M-Th- 730am - 12:30pm) * Attendance for all four weeks is strongly encouraged.
Responsibilities:
- Up to five hours in June required for pre-planning/set up of classroom with On-Site Coordinator at Contractual Hourly Rate ($40)
- Establish and implement theme based Humanities and STEM project-based activities weekly
- Monitor, document and report students weekly attendance
- Maintain daily communication with coordinator regarding student and classroom progress
- Collaborate with FSU reading specialists internships
Funding source: Title I and Title III Grants
Report to: On-Site Coordinator and Administrator - Renee Kostka, Director of Teaching and Learning
