SUMMARY: To supervise and coordinate the development, implementation, operation, and evaluation of the Child Study Teams and Related Service Providers, in accordance with law, policies, and regulations.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Conduct Comprehensive Evaluations of Student Support Services: Lead thorough assessments of Student Study Team services and behavioral intervention strategies, initiating improvements and strategic adjustments as essential to meet evolving student needs.
- Proactively identify areas for enhancement within Student Study Team Services and behavioral intervention plans, recommending and facilitating necessary adjustments to optimize student outcomes.
- Cultivate and maintain dynamic relationships with external agencies and organizations, strategically leveraging these partnerships to augment program offerings and meet programmatic goals.
- Facilitates the implementation of tier 3 interventions, ensuring targeted support for students requiring additional assistance to succeed.
- Partner closely with coaches and teachers to refine and deliver instruction tailored to the specific needs identified through Student Study Team interventions, enhancing educational impact.
- Undertake detailed evaluations of district-wide programs and procedures, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement to elevate the educational experience.
- Identify and develop essential materials and resources to support diverse learning styles, providing staff with alternative strategies and tools to ensure all students can access and engage with the curriculum effectively.
- Participate actively in a range of meetings, including budgeting, grant discussions, program proposals, and board meetings, contributing to the strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Embrace and execute a variety of responsibilities as needed, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the district's mission and goals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Education, Special Education or closely related field; AND five (5) years of teaching experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Required Licenses and Certifications:
- Arizona Teaching Certificate.
- Specific technical skills training and certifications may be required depending upon area of assignment.
Required Knowledge of:
- State and District testing requirements and standards.
- Principles and practices of effective project management, leadership, supervision, and training.
- SIOP instructional practices and methods of classroom teaching and management.
- Core and intervention curriculum and materials.
- Adult/child and adult/adult learning theories
Required Skills in:
- Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with coworkers and other individuals in contact during the course of work; communicating clearly and concisely.
- Operating a personal computer utilizing standard software such as Microsoft Office and some specialized software; functioning standard office equipment.
- Understanding lesson planning using the District lesson plan template.
- Analyzing and interpreting testing programs and data.
- Development and implementation of curriculum and performance-based assessments.
- Practices methods involved in providing quality customer service.
- Committee facilitation.
