What are the responsibilities and job description for the English Language Learner (ELL) Teacher position at Districtwide?
QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate should be a certified teacher in the state of Kentucky, hold an ELL endorsement or equivalent degree, or work to obtain said endorsement
JOB GOAL: To lead ELL students toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional, and psychological growth and maturation.

General Summary:
The English Language Learner (ELL) teacher provides English language development literacy instruction to children who are acquiring English as an additional language, working collaboratively with other instructional personnel, including a district personnel, to meet the individual needs of each child. Required activities include planning and delivering lessons, collaborating with classroom teachers and specialists, administering formative and summative assessments, completing documentation required for compliance with Title III, VI and EEOA, and attending ELL meetings and professional development offerings.
