What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Para-Educator- Daily position at Districtwide?
Daily Substitute Paraeducators are hired for positions throughout the District. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the teaching process and works directly with children under the direction and supervision of the classroom teacher or Special Needs teacher in class support.
- Responsible for other general duties as indicated by the teacher, principal, supervisors/directors, directives of the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee, and policies of the Braintree Public Schools School Committee.
Daily rate of pay is $86.00.
