About the Role
We are looking for a self-starter engineer who loves building new products in an iterative and fast-moving environment. In this role, you will be bringing our smartest matchmaking AI to world. You will also be building internal tools that's gonna be used by AIs. You will also collaborate closely with the product and research teams to create the structure of this innovative agentic system.
In this role, you will:
- Own the development of new customer-facing dating / social networking experience.
- Talk to users to understand their problems and design solutions to address them.
- Collaborate with product designers, and leadership to create cutting-edge products.
- Make internal tools for team as well as for AIs. (Very fun)
- Optimize applications for speed and scale
Your background looks something like:
- 3 years of relevant engineering experience at tech and product-driven companies
- Proficiency with fundamental data structures and algorithms.
- Proficiency with TypeScript, React, Next.js and other web technologies
- Proficiency with some backend languages and frameworks (Typescript / bun is preferred)
- Experience with microservice architecture using a variety of infrastrctrue services like RabbitMQ.
- Experience with non-relational databases. e.g., MongoDB & Redis
- Experience in AI/ML pipelines (no specific stack required)
- Ability to move fast in an environment where things are sometimes loosely defined and may have competing priorities or deadlines
