About the role :
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with expertise in React and React Native, particularly in deploying applications across Android and web environments. You'll be a founding software engineer for Ditto's new no-code / low-code product that allows anyone with a web browser to build a mobile application powered by Ditto.
This is a high-visibility technical role with a tremendous opportunity to impact the company's trajectory. The successful applicant will have a track record of shipping mobile apps and have an opinion on what a beautiful mobile app looks and feels like. Please note that this role is remote but will require regular on-site team meetups in San Francisco, CA.
As a Software Engineer for the App Builder, you will :
- Develop and maintain responsive and scalable UI components using React.js
- Build and optimize applications for Android using React Native
- Deploy the Android app on the Google Play Store on a regular basis
- Implement best practices in front-end architecture, including component-driven development, code reusability, and performance optimization
- Ensure high-quality code by writing unit tests and integration tests
- Work closely with backend engineers to ensure seamless integration of APIs
