DiVal Safety Equipment, a leader in the Fire, EMS and industrial safety equipment distribution business, is looking for a Service Technician with a “whatever it takes” attitude. The main responsibility of this position is to provide a safe, efficient and dependable operational support for a customer in Albany, NY.

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Focus on safety at all times – safety training and direction must be adhered to at all times - report any existing or potential safety concerns to management.
• Perform required services on fire extinguishers according to NFPA 10 standards and safety requirements established with customer.
• Perform required services on emergency eyewash stations and emergency shower stations according to OSHA requirements and safety requirements established with customer.
• Perform required services on emergency lighting according to NFPA 101 and safety requirements established with customer.
• Provide onsite Vendor Managed Inventory replenishment of PPE products for customers as scheduled.
• Perform additional warehouse duties that may arise and be assigned by management.
  
  

Skills and Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a DOT drug screen & physical.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clear driving record as defined within the DiVal Safety.
• May require additional hours in emergency situations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
• High school diploma / GED equivalent.
