Operations Generalist-
Part Time
El Dorado, Arkansas
Duties and Responsibilities -
- Possess the capability to move into a full-time position with adequate notice with an opportunity for advancement into a leadership role in the future.
- Focus on safety at all times – safety training and direction must be adhered to at all times, reporting any existing or potential safety concerns to management.
- Driving and delivery responsibilities, including but not limited to-maintaining mileage logs, loading trucks, delivering to customer sites, and assisting sales professionals with customer feedback. (Estimated 25-75%).
- Various Warehouse activity, including but not limited to- picking, packing, shipping orders, receiving inventory, and putting stock away. (Estimated 25-75%).
- Expected to assist in receiving and put away while being asked to maintain the Vendor Discrepancy Board.
- Provide safe, accurate, and dependable delivery of orders on an as needed basis to cover open routes as directed by management.
- Effectively and efficiently communicate any issues/problems with management.
- Capable of providing onsite Vending and Vendor Managed Inventory while communicating order request from customers to sales personnel as needed.
- Capable of picking up local Purchase Orders and Serviced items.
- Travel to help with coverage at other warehouses (estimated 5-25%).
- Perform additional warehouse and driving duties that may arise.
Skills and Requirements –
- Ability to pass a D.O.T. physical with drug screen.
- Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
- Must be detailed oriented and self-motivated.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
- Valid Arkansas state driver’s license with a clear driving record as defined within the DiVal Safety Equipment’s Employee Handbook.
- High school diploma / GED equivalent.
