DiVal Safety Equipment, a leader in the industrial safety, Fire, and EMS distribution business, is looking for credible and motivated Operations Generalist with a “whatever it takes” attitude.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Always focus on safety – safety training and direction must be always adhered to.
- Perform inspections and required service work on life saving equipment including fire extinguishers, emergency eye washes/ showers, emergency lights/ exit signs and AEDs at the customer’s location.
- Calibrate gas detection instruments.
- Various warehouse activity, including but not limited to- picking, packing, shipping orders, receiving inventory, and putting stock away.
- Provide customer onsite Vendor Managed Inventory replenishment of PPE products for customers as scheduled.
- Prepare and submit all necessary daily paperwork in a timely manner as required.
- Reporting directly to Services and Warehouse Leadership in alignment with other members of the management team.
- Perform additional duties that may arise and assigned by management.
Skills and Requirements:
- Ability to pass a D.O.T. physical with drug screen.
- Strong organizational, detail oriented, self-motivated and strong time management skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
- Valid Driver’s License. (Vehicle Transit Van or 16” box truck).
- Experience with handheld equipment, like RF scanners, palm devices, and/or tablets. (Preferred).
- Basic computer skills a must, AS400 experience a plus.
- High school diploma / GED equivalent.
