Job Summary:
Divcon is seeking a skilled and experienced Ignition Automation Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable Ignition projects tailored to meet specific business needs across a variety of customer projects. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, customizing Ignition modules, and providing technical support to optimize operations.
Duties:
- Create and deploy scalable Ignition projects tailored to meet specific business needs across a variety of customer projects.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and integrate Ignition solutions with new and existing systems, focusing on a consistent look and feel.
- Implement best practices for software configuration management, version control, and documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Ignition projects during deployment and post-implementation phases, including on-site support at customer locations.
Qualifications:
- Ignition Certification (Inductive University) or equivalent industry certifications.
- Proficiency in Ignition platform components including Vision, Perspective, SQL databases, scripting (Python, Java), and Ignition Edge.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to diverse conditions.
- Strong technical skills in software configuration management, version control, and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with BMS (Building Management Systems) & EPMS (Electrical Power Monitoring Systems) integration and IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) technologies.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management tools.
