Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Regional Technical Manager to oversee a team of Controls Technicians within a specific geographic area. They will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, and providing training and support to the Controls Technicians in their region, while adhering to safety and compliance standards. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, customer relationship management and people leadership skills to ensure exceptional customer delivery and drive company and employee success.
Duties
- Lead and manage the regional team to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Manage a team of controls technicians, assigning tasks and providing technical guidance.
- Troubleshoot complex control system issues, providing technical expertise to field technicians on site.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and industry standards related to control systems.
- Interact with regional clients to understand their control system needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Provide ongoing coaching and training to technicians on new technologies, system updates, and safety procedures.
- Act as the first line of escalation for regional Controls Technicians.
- Provide ongoing feedback and conduct annual review and goal setting for all regional Control Technicians.
- Ensure regional team cohesion and culture by hosting quarterly get togethers with regional teams.
- Support QA/QC of progress & milestone of regional projects.
- Assist System Specialist with document reviewing process for regional projects
- Review and approve Control Tech time and expenses.
Qualifications
- 2 years of demonstrated success in managing a Controls Technician teams.
- Strong understanding of building management systems, including hardware, software, and protocols
- Technical knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC controls, and building automation
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and execute effectively and address challenges during installation, commissioning and handover to Operations
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and with customers.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel as needed within the region.

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
