What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aquatics Experience Lead position at Diventures?
Diventures is a scuba and swim center with 18 locations across the U.S. We're all about safety and fun in the water and we're excited to launch swim lessons at our Phoenix location in spring 2025! We teach an internationally-accredited curriculum from Swim Schools International (SSI).
We are hiring an Aquatics Experience Lead to launch, lead, and grow the swim program and be the on-site manager. If you love aquatics, teaching children, leading teams, building great customer relationships, and implementing programming, this could be a great role for you!
The Aquatics Experience Lead will be responsible for driving acquisition of new swimmers, executing consistent instruction that helps students progress, delivering an exceptional customer experience, retaining swimmers, and operating a safe, clean, and well-merchandised training center. The Lead will work alongside our scuba team to ensure we maintain all industry safety and training standards for all pool operations.
About half of the Lead's time will be spent teaching lessons. Other duties include class scheduling and student database management (through Jackrabbit), pool management, customer service, and community outreach. The Aquatics Experience Lead is the main point of contact for parents and families in-person, on the phone, and through email and must have a breadth and depth of knowledge of not only Diventures Swim programming but all Diventures programming and offerings.
Come be part of a program from the ground floor and teach life-saving swim skills and water safety in the Phoenix area! A successful Lead will build positive experiences and lasting relationships with our swim customers through high-touch, high-communication, personalized customer service.
