At Diventures, we're in the relationship business. The Aquatics Program Director contributes to the success of the Diventures team by consistently building positive experiences and lasting relationships with our customers through high-touch, high-communication, personal customer service.
As the enterprise leader of the Diventures swim program (i.e. the internal 'CEO of swim) the Aquatics Program Director has company-wide responsibility for the design, delivery and performance of all swim programming, swim products, lifeguarding, aqua fitness, and ancillary pool programming. The Aquatics Program Director works closely and collaboratively with our customers, vendor partners, Diventures Store Support, store directors and field swim team members to create safety and fun in and around the water through our best-in-class learn to swim program.
A swim subject matter expert themselves, the Aquatics Program Director supports the store teams in the training, certification, development, and performance management of our swim professionals. Together with the store teams, the Aquatics Program Director ensures that Diventures provides safe and sound instruction in building safe and confident swimmers in accordance with industry standards.
Responsible for the enterprise-level performance of this critical revenue stream, the director supports Store Directors, Aquatics Managers, and field swim instructors, to optimize the size, income and profit generation of the business through:
- Program design and business modeling
- Program operations and service delivery
- Customer acquisition to targeted enrollment goals
- Maximized program capacity through optimal staffing
- Customer relationship development via swim teacher consistency and team stability
- Customer sustainment through the execution of our Passport to Adventure swim progress tracker
- Maximization of ancillary aquatics programs (Lifeguarding, Swim Camps, Youth Programs)
- Oversight and monitoring of program delivery to ensure customer and team safety, instruction quality and alignment with Diventures expectations
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Aquatics Program Director is a member of the Store Support team and works closely with peers and the Executive Leadership Team on enterprise-level projects, cross-functional initiatives and organizational continuing education. As a member of the Store Support Team, the Aquatics Program Director works as a servant leader for the store teams, working closely with the store managers and customer experience managers in each location to achieve company goals.
