Diverging Approach, Inc. is a railroad signal engineering company for many different railroads (freight and passenger). Our company is looking for a full time Field Technician to join our team.
JOB SUMMARY
Assist Signal Engineer with various field equipment set-up, troubleshooting, testing, and record-keeping. Field equipment includes, but not limited to, railroad switch machines, track circuits, signals, crossing gates and assemblies, as well as equipment located withing signal enclosures.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Use of railroad testing equipment devices including, but not limited to, electronic meters, hand tools, shunts, and other handheld devices, as necessary.
- Review site-specific drawings to determine test point locations.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with team members.
- Provide a positive attitude in our team environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma, or equivalent.
- Mechanical / Electrical aptitude.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain professional work ethic.
- Position is contingent on background check and drug screen.
