We are seeking a motivated Distribution Associate Associate to join our medical device division at Diversatek Healthcare in Milwaukee, WI. This role reports to the Distribution Center Supervisor and presents an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to join a growing company committed to excellence.
Position Summary
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or shipping/receiving experience preferred.
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software is a plus.
- Familiarity with barcode scanning and labeling equipment (e.g., Zebra printers) is desirable.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Work Environment:
- This position is based on-site at our Milwaukee distribution facility.
- The work is performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required, depending on the task.
Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Overtime may be required based on business needs.
Additional:
- Training in safety protocols and warehouse operations is a plus
Note: Qualifications will be reviewed through performance evaluations and tailored training plans designed to meet the specific requirements of a regulated medical device manufacturing environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately using RF scanners and warehouse mobility software.
- Prepare shipping documentation and ensure proper labeling, packaging, and handling of outgoing goods.
- Stage orders for shipment according to shipping schedules and carrier pick-ups.
- Perform receiving duties, including unloading, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments.
- Move inventory using pallet jacks, carts, or other material handling equipment as needed.
- Support inventory counts, cycle counting, and reconciliation of variances.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with company standards and OSHA regulations.
- Assist with special projects and cross-functional tasks as assigned by leadership
Physical Demands
- Frequently required to walk, bend, stoop, balance, and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to use arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp, and move various materials.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, and frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Operate a stand-up forklift, electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack, and other material handling equipment.
