Position Summary :
The Ticket Seller is responsible for welcoming guests, providing information, completing ticket and retail sales accurately and efficiently, and providing access to the attraction at appropriate times.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Greets and initiates conversation with guests. Takes initiative to ensure guests purchase appropriate passes.
- Interacts with guests to provide a quality experience.
- Provide guests with appropriate information about the attraction, experience, and retail items.
- Uses sales techniques to upsell and add-on to transactions, including photo and retail package options.
- Handles cash and credit card transactions accurately and proficiently.
- Verify cash and change in a physical manner to guests.
- Utilizes a computer to create, process and balance sales.
- Maintains knowledge of height and weight restrictions for the attraction and advise guests who may not meet those requirements.
- Verifies guest have valid tickets.
- Allows access to the attraction at the appropriate times.
- Stock retail items as needed.
- Maintain a neat and organized sales areas.
- Maintains cleanliness of the attraction lobby, retail space, restrooms, and queue areas.
- Provides direction to guests when loading and unloading the queue
- Follows Standard Operating Procedures.
- Follows all handbook policies.
- Other duties, as assigned.
