What are the responsibilities and job description for the Database Administrator position at Diverse Lynx?
Role name : Database Administrator Role Description : Skills Required : 1. Ability to perform day to day database administration tasks with deep understanding of SQL Server internals e.g. Indexing, partitioning , filestream , Always-On , replication cctv and Mirroring technologies.2. Troubleshoot and provide advice on SQL Server performance issues and be able to work with application development teams and provide recommendations.3. Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools4. Knowledge of relational databases, T-SQL, query execution plans, solving concurrency issues and deadlocks5. Knowledge of administrating azure SQL databases is an added advantage.6. Good communication skill and experience to handle P1 / P2 outages.7. MSSQL DBA Certification will be added advantage.8. Excellent Automation skills - Powershell any other tool automation will be an added advantage9. Other Technology Support ( like Delphix / HVR / RTDS ) Competencies : Digital : Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), IT IS_AMS_Database_MS SQL Server Experience (Years) : 6-8
