Position Description
This consultant in this role is critical in addressing and resolving stability and performance issues across storage, databases, and systems. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise and the ability to analyze, design, and implement solutions in a complex IT environment comprising Isilon storage, Oracle and Sybase databases, and Linux and Windows operating systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Stability & Performance Optimization :
Analyze and troubleshoot performance and stability issues across storage, database, and system layers.
Design scalable and robust infrastructure solutions tailored to the organization's storage, database, and system requirements.
Manage and optimize Isilon storage solutions, ensuring high availability and data integrity.
Partner with stakeholders to understand infrastructure challenges and align solutions with business objectives.
Implement and maintain monitoring tools to proactively detect performance bottlenecks.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on storage, databases, and system performance.
Strong proficiency in performance monitoring and optimization tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
