Job Description : About the Role
We are looking for a Site Reliability / Service Engineer to support and enhance the Quantum Hardware Design team's Linux-based High-Performance Computing (HPC) clusters in Azure. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of cloud-based infrastructure that powers cutting-edge quantum simulations and research.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and test cloud infrastructure changes in compliance with Microsoft policies, while minimizing user impact and downtime.
- Monitor and track the latest Azure security requirements, ensuring compliance and system integrity.
- Deploy and test system updates, proactively mitigating potential disruptions.
- Collaborate across teams to communicate requirements, plans, and best practices.
- Maintain and improve DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) systems for reproducible and scalable deployments.
- Assist simulation engineers in optimizing compute resource utilization.
- Document system changes, configurations, and operating procedures.
